Who we are

Ixpo is a digital B2B directory where buyers discover manufacturers and manufacturers publish a company profile. Questions about this policy can be sent to ixpo.info@gmail.com.

Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to run accounts and the directory.

  • Account data: email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), full name if you give one, account type (buyer or manufacturer) and preferred language.
  • Manufacturer profile data: company name, description, products, production details, categories, country, city, address and location, photos and logo, and the contact details you choose to publish (phone, WhatsApp, public email, website).
  • Buyer profile data: optional company name, country, industry, areas of interest and whether you want email updates.
  • Content you upload: images stored in our private file storage and shown on your profile once published.
  • Technical data: standard server and security logs generated when your browser requests a page, including IP address, timestamp, requested URL and browser user agent.
  • Search wording: the text you type into search or Ask Ixpo is processed to build a database query.

How we use it

  • To create and authenticate your account, including email verification and password reset.
  • To publish approved manufacturer profiles in the public directory and make them findable by fair, category, country and city.
  • To review manufacturer profiles before they appear publicly and to handle suspension or removal.
  • To interpret natural-language search requests. The wording you type is sent to an AI model that returns structured search criteria only; the model never generates company results. All results come from our database.
  • To keep the platform secure, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
  • To send service messages such as verification and password-reset emails, and, if you opted in, buyer updates.

Legal bases

Where data protection law such as the GDPR or the Turkish KVKK applies, we rely on the performance of a contract (running your account and listing), our legitimate interest (platform security, fraud prevention, improving discovery) and your consent where consent is required, for example for optional email updates.

Public information

A manufacturer profile is published so that buyers can find and contact you. Anything you enter into your public profile, including contact details and photographs, is visible to the public and to search engines. Do not put personal information there that you do not want published. Buyer accounts and buyer preferences are never published.

Infrastructure and processors

Ixpo runs on Lovable Cloud, which uses Supabase for authentication, the database and file storage, and on edge hosting infrastructure that serves the website. Search wording is sent to an AI model provider through the platform's AI gateway for the sole purpose of interpreting your request. These providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may store and process data in data centres outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on the standard contractual protections offered by those providers.

Retention

Account and profile data is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your listing, we remove the profile, its images and its category links from the live platform; short-lived technical backups and security logs may keep copies for a limited period before expiring.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can edit or correct most information yourself in your dashboard. For anything else, write to ixpo.info@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Security

Access to data is controlled at database level with row-level security rules, so an account can only read or change the records it owns. Uploaded files are stored in a private bucket and served through time-limited links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Children

Ixpo is a business platform and is not intended for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the site.
